This week I am so pleased to share an interview with Sarah from Natural Mama with you. She is the latest blogger interview in my “What I…” series.
Her blog focuses on all things natural. She writes about natural and organic products, books and blogs she reads and useful information for moms including delicious vegetarian food choices and recipes.

What I…
Know
What you give, you get back. And also, that it’s far easier to live from a place of fear instead of love, but that when you make choices out of love, the rewards are far greater.
Love
My family and friends the most! But being outdoors, making things with my hands, yoga, lazy mornings, and eating great food are all tie in second place.

Read
Usually I read lots of quite heavy/ deep stuff, books about alternative parenting, evolution, spirituality, etc. Lately though, I’ve been keeping it lighter with novels. My two most recent favourites are “Alias Grace” by Margaret Atwood and “Blood Sisters” By Stephanie and Barbara Keating.
And then because I’m online so often, I love to follow lots of blogs. A few of the mommy blogs that I’m always reading are Simplicity Parenting, Loving Earth Mama, and Lusa Organics.
Want
To get the balance right between being a playful & dedicated Mom, a fun & loving wife, and a focused, self-employed woman. (I think I’m going to write this on a post-it and pin it above my desk!).
Wear
Pretty much all of my clothes are either from secondhand shops or I’ve made myself. I love the idea of finding old pieces (usually from the 70’s) and then changing them slightly to suit my body shape. Every now and then I’ll buy something new, but I always try to make sure that it’s at least been made in South Africa. I’ve got a thing about supporting local trade 🙂
Need
A week away with my husband, my little lady, and my pupsters! Somewhere that’s warm, quiet and surrounded by Nature. *Sigh*
Thanks so much Sarah for featuring in my series. And thank you for sharing all your insights about Natural Parenting on your blog – I find it so interesting and helpful.
