Leigh, or as she is better known @Le1ghLo, is the lovely lady behind www.Le1ghLo.com. Today she is sharing my space as the blogger I’m interviewing in my “What I…” series. Leigh blogs from Johannesburg, South Africa about cool and exciting things that happen in Joburg for those past their early 20s! The “Lo” down so to speak! She loves trying new bars, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, beauty salons, spas, hairdressers and sale spotting! Sounds like my kinda gal! Take it away Leigh….
What I …
Joburg is a vibrant and wonderfully dynamic city with so many engaging and inspiring people. Having only moved here a couple of years back (I’m originally from Harare, Zimbabwe), I know I can make this city my home. As an aside, the Joburg skyline picture in my collage was done by a local online gallery called NewClr (@NewClr) and I have the framed print above my bed.
Friends and family aside, the current loves of my life are firstly my MINI Cooper (I am obsessed with the MINI brand and had wanted one for ages) and secondly, red wine, which is something I only acquired a taste for half-way through last year (what was I thinking in the years before that?!)
Unfortunately with how busy life is at the moment, all I’m getting to read lately is my twitter feed (which I do compulsively throughout the day). I breathe, eat, and sleep twitter and have made some awesome friends in the process!
I was recently invited to a Lady Bloggers meet-and-greet and I’ve decided that I *really* want to meet more of my fellow South African bloggers. Whatever their blogging interests, it’s always great to swop ideas with those who are just as enthusiastic about social media communication as I am.
The fragrance I wear daily is the new YSL perfume ‘Manifesto’ and I’m trying out a Jimmy Choo fragrance for evening events. If I can’t own the shoes (yet), at least I can wear the scent!
What I need are my friends, family (new and old) and my cute pooch (adopted Jack Russel ‘puppy’ called Asterix). I also need to gym more. And drink less.
