This is a new series of interviews with various bloggers whose blogs I enjoy. Today’s interview is with Beth from Cape Town Creatives.
I asked her to answer the following questions.
Working in front of a computer and corresponding via email is a lot less
challenging than connecting with people face to face – and probably a lot
less rewarding too!
Gardening – I literally have a one meter squared patch of garden to work
with but watching those plants grow brings me such pleasure. Baking elaborate cakes with expensive ingredients (not every day, but good fun when it happens!) Long walks in the Constantia Vineyards, admiring panoramic Cape Town views. Family and friends – nothing beats these special people in my life. God, who makes it all worth while! Creativity in all its shapes and forms.
Thought-provoking, poetically descriptive books. I’m currently reading The
Book Thief by Markus Zusak and loving every page! I also really enjoy books
(whether fiction/non-fiction) about people; their lives, families and relationships.
Travelling throughout Europe would be nice, but before I get there, a new
set of Windsor and Newton Acrylic paints would be fantastic.
Lots of skirts and dresses, flat shoes, white anything, long necklaces.
A bubble bath once every now and then!
Cape Town Creatives is a great website directory for creatives in all spheres of design based in Cape Town. These include graphic design, photography, craft, architecture, illustration, jewellery design, animation and more. She also runs a blog for the website which she updates with info on all the creative happenings around the Mother City. Pop over and take a look!
Thanks Beth for being my first interviewee! I am looking for more interviewees so if you are a blogger or know someone who is, contact me….
