Inspiring Interiors: A beautiful bachelor pad

Seriously, how stylish is this small Scandi-inspired bachelor pad??

I stumbled across this recently online and just had to share the prettiness.

I’m in love with the all-white look and in my own recent renovations decided to paint the canvas white and then allow accessories to add the colour. I’m loving this look so much. It’s a bit more stylish than my own suburban home but I’m definitely going to be using this colour palette for inspiration – white, black, charcoal, natural wood and splashes of greenery from a smattering of indoor plants.

This space is a really unisex space and the decor would suit a couple perfectly… although I’m guessing from the small splashes of pink and the prints on the wall that this space is actually inhabited by a woman… which just goes to show that a “bachelor” pad isn’t that anymore. In fact it’s quite an outdated name because it certainly isn’t only bachelors who enjoy living in a small stylish space these days…

Presently I’m a suburb dweller as it makes the most sense with school-going kids, but there’s secretly a small part of me that would LOVE to live in a very simple city apartment where you can pare down your belongings to only the very beautiful or essential and then live in a super simple and seriously stylish way… just the way I imagine these lucky people to live!

Maybe one day when I’m big and my kids have moved out I’ll scale right down to live like this. (except then I’ll probably have grandkids coming to play!!)

What do you think? Isn’t this beautiful!!

  1. Its a great apartment but it is illegal to post content as though it is your own – I suggest a link back to the original post or an approach to the original poster requesting permission.

    1. Thanks for the comment. I am aware of that and have tried to find the original photographer but the sites that come up when searching for the original photographer are all in Russian or Swedish (of which I speak neither) There is no obvious link to the photographer but I will keep trying.
