House & Leisure Night Market

Back by popular demand, the second House and Leisure Night Market will be taking place on the 27th March at 5pm.

Wembley Square in Gardens will once again play host to the Cape Town market, where visitors can expect around 50 vendors including some of South Africa’s foremost designers, makers, artisans and food emporiums. These specially selected, top-quality vendors range from fashion to homeware!

Some of the stalls I will be sure to make a swing past next Thursday evening are listed below…

Local luxury brand Cinnamon is owned by Joburg-based Frances Koep Edwards who designs beautifully made flats. Each pair of Cinnamons is handmade in South Africa, on trend and designed to last. The focus is on quality and the shoes are made from various leathers, local and imported, and other fabrics that will make your heart sing. Cinnamon fuses functionality, comfort and statement design to create a pair for every personality, be it ponyskin leopard-print pumps for those with a more eclectic style or satin two-toned pumps inspired by the classic ballerina style. Because each pair is hand-crafted, ranges are limited. When you buy a pair, you will therefore know that you are one of a handful of women wearing that design.
Coco Africa, a Franschhoek-based company, designs, distributes and markets custom made solid wood decor smalls for the retail industry, guest houses, interior designers and hotels. Owner Cindy Douglas has a passion for product development and loves working with wood. All the products are custom made by the Douglas&Co workshop, overlooking the Merlot vineyards. The workshop uses handmade and industrial manufacturing methods, often hand assembling and finishing. Master craftsmen Stuart Douglas and Aubrey Nybole head the decor production team.

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
