Restaurant Review: Harbour House at the V&A Waterfront

Recently I popped in for a quick evening soiree at the Harbour House Restaurant in the Waterfront, a firm favourite for seafood-savvy locals and tourists too.

The V&A Waterfront branch of Harbour House Restaurant really lives up to it’s name as it’s situated in a prime position overlooking the bustling Victoria Basin and Quay Five.

The event was to launch their new small plates offering, available on the Upstairs Deck.

I was greeted with a sundowner cocktail and a decadent sushi platter and then the food just kept flowing…

Tapas-style dining is huge around the world and Harbour House has got it so right… beautifully presented small plates filled with delicious Mediterranean-inspired flavours.

This is a great place to pop in for a quick post-work drink with a friend, to take out-of-town visitors or to enjoy a romantic date night, surrounded by the sounds of the working harbour, watching the twinkling lights and enveloped in a moody mist creeping in from the sea… blankets provided!
