This week’s What I… blogger interview is with Don “The Don Father” Dinnematin
One of the few dad bloggers around, Don has a fresh angle on the usual parenting blogs.
Find out more about him, his life and his blog below…
Nobody really teaches parenthood. We are moulded by our parents and we learn from experience, by doing this, we can only try to get better at it. I know that we need to be informed, aggressively involved and as in love as you’re capable of letting yourself be. Take in every minute and be 100 per cent present.
My wife, my daughter, my family, my friends. Living life to the absolutely best, watching my dreams unfold and trusting the process. Oh, and Tea…I’m sort of a tea freak. Early Grey tops the list!
‘Good Morning Mr Mandela’ and ‘Talk Like Ted’ currently lie on my bedside table. I’m a sucker for learning new things, if it interests me, I’ll drown in the knowledge of a good book.
The absolute best for my family. Experiences worth more than money can buy. A journey of wholeness and a life of greatness. To learn, love and appreciate more and to one day sit back on my beach patio with my wife and say “damn we have lived one hell of an amazing life”
It’s a corporate world for me. So formal wear daily. If I had my way, beach trunks and flip flops. I am a Durbanite after all.
I need for nothing, everything I could possibly need I already have…Although, I kind of need a pizza right now.
