Hygge your Home: 100% Cotton Bedding

Winter is all about snuggling in bed – just 5 more minutes on a work day or for the whole day on a weekend! Beds are synonymous with warmth, comfort, luxury and pleasure. Nothing quite beats jumping into your own bed after a long, hard day…. except maybe when the bed in question is bedecked with beautiful cotton bedding!

The feeling of freshly ironed crisp cotton sheets is one of life’s small pleasures, and certainly one I enjoy every evening. You could call it “Hygge” (Read more about my obsession with Hygge here!)

Fortunately new bedding doesn’t have to break the bank either – it’s an affordable way to update your bedroom and create a whole new hotel-worthy look, especially with the incredible bedding sale now on at Superbalist.com

After scrolling through their 100% cotton bedding options I’m inclined to indulge my love of a new look.

Here are a few of my favourites 100% cotton bedding available on Superbalist – the bonus is that they are all currently marked down by up to 50%!

I love this quirky bedding from SHERATON available on Superbalist. Curl up under the covers in style with this super soft and lightweight set that imbues a minimalist aesthetic with a cheeky hint of personality! Prices from R479 (was R799).

Alfalfa embroidered duvet cover set

As you may have noticed I’m a huge fan of white bedding as I feel it evokes a simple, timeless look that is calming and luxurious. That being said it is important to bring in a bit of a design which is when a bit of embroidery may be the answer.

This gorgeous set from SHERATON is ideal for those of you who want to evoke a classic hotel style boudoir. The set includes 2 pillowcases. Priced from R439 (was R799).

Willshaw duvet cover set

You may be noticed a trend – yep, I’m a minimalist when it come to bedroom linen, however for those of you amongst us who prefer a splash of colour I came across this beautiful bedding from LINEN HOUSE which even I may make allowance for!

I love the subtle petrol blue of this classic duvet set. Both timeless in colour, fabric and features, this features a soft diamond print that would make the perfect centre pice for your bedroom makeover! Priced from R1104 (was R1699).

I hope you feel inspired to update your bedroom with some brand new linen this winter – the perfect way to really feather your nest for the colder months.

Don’t forget, sleep is essential to well-being so you’d be investing in your physical, emotional and mental health by buying some super soft new bedding!
