Coco li

Last week I popped into De Waterkant last week and stopped by the sweet boutique – Coco li. Started in 2004 by sisters, Leigh and Lana, this upmarket shop offers a beautiful array of gifts, accessories and fashion items including swimwear and sleepwear.

The style of the shop is similar to a treasure box filled with pretty, colourful jewels! It is a great place to pop in for uniquely sourced products – both local and international – including jewellery, ceramics and homewear. The sisters have a background in design and a keen eye especially for anything vintage in style.

This is what they have to say about Coco li in their own words:

“We like to pay attention to the finer details, be it from the way we display our beautiful finds, to the music you can expect to hear when exploring our store, to the way we wrap your gifts and send you off. You can expect gifts to be adorned with exquisite wraps that are then tied with vintage lace ribbons and perhaps even finished off with a rose – something uniquely Coco li and a real treat for the receiver of your gift.”

Here are a few of the pics I snapped on my visit….

Coco li is a perfect place to find anything gorgeous, glamourous or “girly”. Be sure to pop past next time you are in De Waterkant or visit their second shop located at The Paddocks in Milnerton. And if Coco li is a place you could spend far too much money in (like myself!) then come back soon as I have an exciting competition starting shortly to win a R300 voucher for Coco li!! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
