So I’ve been stewing over a new series for my blog for months now…. and well, a new year feels like a good time to launch it, right?
Have you ever asked yourself “I wonder what blogs bloggers read“, well, it’s a question I have often asked myself!
So, I’ve decided to ask some of my favourite South African bloggers to share with me a few of their favourite blogs. The ones which they read on a regular basis – local or international – in an attempt to broaden your blogging horizons (and mine!)
Today I’m thrilled to share with you the first post in my new series called Blogs Bloggers Read
The first blogger in my series is Raylene who writes over at Scarlet Aura…
I check out my favourite blogs on a weekly basis due to my hectic schedule, however, if I have down time I would check out any new content!
Kendi Skeen, Kendi Everyday
http://www.kendieveryday.com/
I love Kendi’s humour in her blog posts. I can relate to her on so many levels and I love that she is down to earth and super funny without even having to try. She posts regular content with beautiful imagery.
Lua, Le Happy
http://www.le-happy.com/
Lua’s unique and edgy style is what got me hooked. She posts the most interesting and inspiring outfits (not to mention the yummy, decadent treats on her Instagram account) on a very regular basis and her photography is absolutely mesmerizing.
Ann Le, Life Ann Style
http://www.lifeannstyle.com/
I grew to love Ann through her Youtube channel – she is the most creative person ever and I’m always inspired by her beautiful and original DIY ideas and projects. Most of what I know today about my own personal style is because of Ann! She posts regular and top quality content and am always excited to get a notification when she has new posts.
Mimi Ikonn
http://www.mimiikonn.com/
I fell in love with Mimi through her Youtube channel. To me she is the epitome of success! From her story growing up to where she is now, her relationship with her husband, Alex, her successful worldwide business, her fabulous style, how she takes care of her body, but most of all, I love how she makes time for the important things in life – her quiet time and spending time with her loved ones. It’s inspiring how she manages and balances her hectic schedule – all while travelling the world and producing regular, quality content.
WOW Thanks Raylene for being the first brave blogger in my new series. I can’t wait to check out all your faves. They all look like incredible bloggers to follow!
And of course I’m keen to feature other bloggers in this space, so if YOU are a blogger who would like to join in the fun, please email me for details.
Hi Kathryn,
I’m looking forward to checking out what other bloggers read! I’m always keen to find new blogs to add to my list.
This is such a lovely idea, thank you 🙂
Yours truly,
Raylene xx
Thanks for taking part Raylene… I’m also really looking forward to this new series and discovering the blogs that inspire some of my favourite bloggers!!
