ANNOUNCEMENT: It’s Blog Boot Camp time again!

So by now I hope you have heard about BLOG BOOT CAMP and how awesome it is!??

If not then here is a quick blurb…

The world of blogs can be quite a daunting one to someone who is just starting out and we know that there are so many questions related to building and beautifying a blog.

The BLOG BOOT CAMP workshop is aimed at teaching you all the ins and outs of blogging and to inspire you to grow your blog whether it’s just a hobby or part of your small business.

It was in late 2013 that Lana and myself realised that there was a need for a blogging workshop in Cape Town and decided to host our very own! So far we have hosted 2 such workshops and both have been really well received! We have learnt so much, met wonderful bloggers and received lovely feedback. And what’s even more awesome is that we’ve seen the blogs written by past BLOG BOOT CAMP attendees flourish and fly!

In the past few months we’ve had a few enquiries about when the next one would be taking place so we thought it was probably time to host BLOG BOOT CAMP again! The good news is that we will be hosting the third BLOG BOOT CAMP in Cape Town on 21 February 2015!

The goal of BLOG BOOT CAMP is to give you the tools you need to run a better, more successful, and creative WordPress blog or website. The course will cover tips for creatively improving the design of your site, how to use social media to promote your blog, how to monetize your blog by working with sponsors and advertisers and finding your unique blogging voice. The morning will be filled with practical information and inspiration to help you to build a better blog and spark your creativity!

You will receive an invaluable Resources list and there will be time for Q&A and networking during and after the event.

★ Analysing blog layout and structure and how to enhance your blog’s look and feel
★ How to create a cohesive look across your blog
★ An introduction to essential WordPress plugins
★ How to market your blog
★ How to use social media effectively to promote your blog

★ Invaluable blogging and WordPress tips

You will need to have a self hosted blog or website, set up and running.

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
