Blog Boot Camp Review

After just under 2 months of planning and prepping, the very first Blog Boot Camp workshop took place on Saturday morning. And what an amazing day it was. I won’t lie to you – it was an enormous amount of work. But the weeks of planning, admin and putting together presentations followed by a full day of set up all culminated in a very successful and well received event!

Lana and myself couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Olive Studio in Woodstock was the ideal venue – light, airy and inspiring! The decor came together beautifully. The food and drinks were delicious with hardly any left overs, the goodie bags and giveaways were perfect and ALL our seats were filled with the most amazing local bloggers! Plus we had loads of fun doing it too.

To give you a taste of the day here are a few photos of the event taken by the very talented Henk Hattingh!

Thanks to all the lovely ladies (& Charl!) who attended and took the time to send us their feedback. We are thrilled with all the positive comments and the constructive suggestions for things we could tweak are so helpful too.

Lana has put together a very useful list of all our Blog Boot Camp attendees – why not pop on over and say hi to encourage some of them on their blogging journey!

And of course if you want to sign up for the next event or be kept up to date about details as to when the next Blog Boot Camp will take place, “like” the Blog Boot Camp Facebook page.

Thank you to all the suppliers and generous giveaway and goodie bag sponsors!

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
