Beauty Review: L’Occitane Imortelle Anti-Ageing Range

Today I’m featuring another post in the NEW Beauty Babes series by Cara Fay. This one is a luxurious skin care review featuring the glorious L’Occitane.

The minute you unbox any of these products you know you’re in for a luxe experience, each box has a pamphlet and a little spatula for application of the product.

Can we just take a moment for the little corner in the box where the spatula is situated, its like they thought of every way to make this product feel so special down to the tiny details…

Today I am reviewing the Divine Anti-Ageing range, that promises to fight visible signs of ageing and gives the skin a youthful, radiant glow.

I started off with the Divine Cream Mask left it on for 15 minutes my skin was so smooth and felt amazing however it did break my chin out the next day; this can be down to two things either the being an anti-ageing product was too rich for my skin or it bought out all the nastys that were on their way out anyway!

I then followed up with the Divine Day Cream with SPF20 which I absolutely loved although it is a rich product. I have been using a tiny amount daily and it doesn’t make my skin extra oily and doesn’t move my make up around either.

I then decided to pass on the L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream to my mom as it is for smoothing and firming I thought it would be more accurately tested on more mature skin.

Here is what she had to say….

What a luxurious pot of cream, the blue glass pot with silver lid looks so glamorous on my white dressing table, 100% for packaging.

This day cream offers triple action for the skin, visibly reduces appearance of wrinkles, helps to restore firmness, protects against external aggressions and smoothes. Best of all it contains a broad spectrum SPF20 Sunscreen which is perfect as no extra sun protection is required.

The cream has a very pleasant smell and even though it has a light texture my skin feels nourished and after only a week of using it my 56-year-old skin feels firmer and nourished. I will look at other products in this range.

All in all I think the entire L`Occitane range is so precious and there is nothing like having one of these tubs incorporated into my skin care range. I have also used their hand creams before which are amazing and make the best gifts!
