Beauty Review: The Body Shop’s Honey Mania range

Thanks to the gorgeous Cara Fay for this beautiful beauty review as part of my Beauty Babes series

The Body Shop is one of my most favourite shops. I absolutely love their skin care, it forms my entire skin care routine. Rewind a few years to Cara in high school my number one Body Shop purchase was body butter and shower gel, ever since I always have a body butter tub on the go. I usually re-purpose the jars to keep bits and bobs in.

Today we’re talking about the sweetest of them all… honey!

The Body Shop describe the range as:

“Experience the nourishing and hydrating properties of community trade Honey made from the nectar of thousands of wildflowers. Use each deliciously floral-scented product individually or pair them together to layer and build up the fragrance. Our luxurious Honeymania™ Body Butter provides 24-hour hydration that leaves skin feeling softer and smoother. While our body scrub gently sweeps away dead skin cells for a clear and cleansed finish”

I couldn’t describe it better if I tried. The scent is more floral-scented than super sweet and honey like which is what I initially expected and thought it would be very sickly but true to form it’s perfect. The entire range is very moisturising from the body wash to the body butter. I also tried the bath melt; which just felt so luxurious like I was pouring pure honey into the bath.

The other thing that I love about The Body Shop ranges is the fact that they make the best gifts! I gifted a bath melt to my granny and looked for one of those honey wooden spoony things to add with the gift, imagine how cute that would be to add to the honey bath melt but unfortunately I couldn’t find one.

The other scents I love are Cocounut, Fiji Green Tea and the new Pina Colada – all in all I absolutely love The Body Shop ranges.

Which scent is your favourite?
