Silly me… I stumbled across this beauty review from Beauty Babe, Kirsten. It should have gone live yonks ago… and I’m not even sure you can still track down this collection from Morgan Taylor BUT she took such gorgeous photos and the colours are SO FESTIVE, so I figured I’d post it now and you can keep an eye out for these pretty polishes as you plan your festive season fingertips!
I always enjoy the Morgan Taylor brand, the application is smooth and easy, the colours are highly pigmented and the nail varnish always seems to last long on the nails (with a great base coat and top coat) as well as in the bottle. It’s no wonder that it is a firm favourite amongst the nail professionals.
The range I got to try is inspired by the icon, Marilyn Monroe…

Diamonds are my BFF
A beautiful finely sparkled silver Nail Varnish. The glitter particles are small and widely spread, so the application leaves one with glitter all the way across the nail and only 2 coats are necessary.
She’s a Natural
A gorgeous, opaque, neutral nude. For those who love a neutral tone without the pink. I’m not usually a fan of nude on my nails, but I have loved wearing this one.
The Camera Loves me
My favourite colour to wear on my nails at the moment, a rich, vampy oxblood. Once again a lovely opaque colour that only needs two coats. It’s literally the perfect colour, in my opinion. It’s also highly glossy.
A Kiss from Marilyn
The perfect red. It’s bright, and vibrant. This colour should be a staple in everyone’s nail polish collection. It’s a gorgeous shade that will brighten up any day. I have loved wearing this on my toes 😉
I prefer Millionaires
A bit of an unusual name. Lol. This is a warm browny bronze, with a fine shimmer. Not something I would usually wear, but pretty nonetheless.
A milky Ice blue with a fine pearlescent shimmer. This colour is so pretty. I tried to wear it in a rush and it smudged very quickly. So next time I should try letting the first coat dry fully before applying the next.
Which colour nail polish will you be wearing on your nails this Christmas??
