Baby Buzz: Childs Farm Organic Skincare

Kids bath time in some families is a time of fun and connection, but in others it can become a stressful end to a busy day!

We are lucky to have three that really enjoy this end of the day routine and all three were thrilled to have an opportunity to try out the beautiful Childs Farm range of bath time toiletries for babies and kids recently as these products really added an extra sense of fun and enjoyment to our bath time routine.

The Childs Farm range comes all the way from the UK and the founder named them after their farm where the products were initially developed.

Delightfully packaged with fun farm animal characters the products come in easy to use 250ml bottles with flip tops and a pump top for the moisturizer making them very user friendly for moms.

Childs Farm is a family business and was started by a mother in response to her girl’s skin issues. From sensitivity to full blown eczema we too have struggled with these childhood challenges. I was eager to see how these would treat my children’s sensitive skins…

Childs Farm review

Their initial reactions to the products was overwhelmingly enthusiastic. If any products have gotten kids approval in this house then these ones certainly hit the jackpot! The products all have lovely fresh aromas and they struggled to choose between the washes as both simply smell amazing! Finally settling on the organic sweet orange.

The consistency of the product combined with the user friendly bottle tops makes it easier for slightly older kids to administer themselves without much mess or waste- a parenting win in bringing up independent children!

My 5 year old really enjoyed the bubble bath and although we only ever have very shallow tubs due to the lessons we learnt from the drought in the Western Cape drought. She LOVED the citrus smell, the bubbles were foamy enough to make ‘bath beards’ and even the characters on the label caught her attention as she tried to replicate the scene with her own bath toys and particularly took a shine to the ballerina and a pony!

These products are fun! They bring a sense of joy to a mundane wash routine and we are sure that they will encourage those bath averse children out there to jump in the tub!

Childs Farm have won numerous awards in the UK and are backed by a comprehensive clinical trials.
