Anouschka from Pamper me now started her spa review blog as a Facebook page and now has one of the most successful beauty based blogs around! As a spa addict and pamper fanatic, she started her blog to share insider spa reviews and irresistible special offers and it evolved to include fab competitions that meant she could extend the love and fulfill her mantra of “everyone deserves to be pampered”.
The mission at ‘PamperMeNow!’ is to bring you the best spa information as well as the latest anti-aging, skin care, beauty and body treatment news.
Here Anouschka shares a few insights into her life behind the blog!
Shooh, what I know is that I still have so much to learn. Everyday is a journey of discovering who I am now that I’m a mom, how I can help my boys become the men I’d want my god daughters to marry, and how to make my husband feel that he’s still no.1
The feeling of my son’s hand in mine, a passing hug from my husband, my unbelievably supportive and loving parents, my wonderful siblings, boozy lunches with my girlfriends, South Africa (especially Cape Town), Chardonnay, biltong, coffee, chocolate, popcorn, foot massage, all things pampering xxx
I’m a sucker for Tudor romance novels by Phillippa Gregory but also like a good murder mystery. Lately all I have time for is ‘Spot the Dog’, ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and ‘Dr Seuss’ though. Oh and social media blogs and Facebook pages – just seem to get sucked in.
Right now I want my pool to be fixed as it’s 30C plus and we can’t swim. Kids are hot and moody – nope that’s just me. Seriously though, I’d like to be able to support myself/family through blogging, affiliate marketing and freelance work, so that I can continue to work from home and be here for the kids. That’s my goal for 2013!
Dresses & jeans. I’d like to say that I’m a fashionista but it’s more about comfort as I run after 2 kids and work from home. Always wear sunscreen, a bit of make-up and some perfume.
I need to be more organised and create a well balanced life for myself and my family. I’ve chosen to work from home rather than in an office, so that I can spend more time with my kids, so I need to live this lifestyle and not just dream of it. I find it hard to switch off ‘work mode’ sometimes, so I ‘need’ to set boundaries around when I work and when I’m totally there for my kids.
