Timeless Travels – Oxford

So here are the pics of Saturday’s outing to Oxford. It’s a lovely place definitely worth seeing at some point. We strolled around the town/ colleges with camera and guidebook like real tourists for the morning and then headed down to the river where there was ‘eights week’ – a rowing regatta competition amongst all the colleges.

We didn’t know quite what the point of it was but it was fun anyway. We then called up my colleague who lives there to pop in for tea and ended up spending the rest of the day with her and her partner before heading back to the river where it all started to make sense because they could explain it to us – being ex-rowers themselves.

All in all it was a brilliant day in the sun and a ‘very Oxford’ thing to have done. Hope you enjoy the pics.
