The Stuttafords Emporium (as it is now known) is also the new home of four stunning stand-alone stores for international brands – Oaktree, French Connection, Banana Republic and my fave – Gap!
Stuttafords at Cavendish Square has increased in size by over 50% and will now occupy around 5 000 square metres, housing over 200 brands, including four full range mono-brand outlets for Banana Republic, Gap, French Connection and Oaktree.
The revamp of Stuttafords in Cavendish Square has been long overdue and I’m really pleased to tell you that it was worth waiting for! The space feels luxurious and chic esp the uber-glam cosmetic and fragrance counters at the entrance. Here are a few sneaky shots of what you can expect…
I popped into the Gap store to take a sneak peek of what’s on offer before they open their doors to the public on Wednesday 20 March! Here are a few of my pics…
LOVING this cute little leather satchel bag – unfortunately the price tag of R1899 made me cry! That being said I’m a big Gap fan and have always made sure to pop into the stores when I have traveled overseas and have found some great pieces.
Stuttafords has been the exclusive retail operator in South Africa for this brand over the past 7 years, and the Cavendish store launch is the fourth Gap mono-brand outlet to be opened in the country. I think it will become a firm favourite of mine (and yours) – I’m pleased to report it carries a far larger selection across all the departments than the previous offerings.
Gap are known for their great quality and range of basics for men and women but they also have the most stunning kids and babywear! Aren’t the ice-cream coloured skinny jeans for girls just too cute! And the options for boys (which are usually quite limited in SA) are esp great. Hold on to your wallet!!
Over 200 brands are available at the new Stuttafords Emporium at Cavendish Square, including Iman, Tommy Hilfiger leisurewear elements, Metallicus, Saville Row, Ted Baker, Stenstroms, Lyle & Scott, 46664, Sagaform, Define, Stephen Cole, Sergeant Pepper, After Eden, Villeroy and Boch and many, many more.
Opens today – Wednesday 20 March!
