Last weekend we were treated to 2 nights at the gorgeous Grootbos Private Nature Reserve. I’m a big fan of exploring the world around me, so when the invitation came a few months back I jumped at the chance to visit this beautiful part of the Cape. Over the Easter weekend 8 years ago I spent a lovely long weekend in Paris – it was exactly as I dreamed it would be – perfection! Still a few days is far too short to spend in the “City of Lights”…. as a francophile of note I’m super keen to head back there for a week or two. Now if you are parents you’ll understand the significance of this prize… A night away for 2 SANS KIDS is pretty much heaven on earth! And if said night is at MannaBay then you’ve hit the jackpot – I should know, I spent a night there last year. One of 2 we’ve had away from the kids in almost 3 years! If anyone wants to know I would quite like a holiday here sometime in the next few months!! Villa Orsula on the Croatian coastline…. looks like a holiday in heaven wouldn’t you say?? Croatia looks like such a stunning place and has been on my travel wishlist for a while but now that I’ve found the perfect accommodation it’s definitely going to be nearer the top (this list is quite long I have to tell you!)
