I love a good red carpet event and the recent MET Ball is no exception especially due to the sheer number of celebs who came out to play! Last night, after an exhausting weekend, I decided a movie night on the couch would be in order and as I was in a nostalgic mood I felt like rewatching one of my old favourites. It’s not often you come across an actress with worldwide fame who still sounds like they could be a good friend! Reese Witherspoon must be one of the most likeable actresses in Hollywood. My faves included Jessica Alba in lavender Gucci, Natalie Portman in hot pink, Kate Beckinsale in white Roberto Cavalli, Angelina in Versace ivory and pops of red, Sofia Veraga in gorgeous midnight blue Vera Wang, Stacey Kiebler in bright red (George Clooney’s gf) and the bright yellow worn by Maria Menounos and Mission Impossible star Paula Patton. I recently caught up with the rest of Western Society and watched the first series of “Mad Men“. A great insight into life in the Sixties with great fashion and a flawed but gorgeous leading man, Don Draper played by Jon Hamm! I can’t believe he only found fame so “late” in life – after 30 in Hollywood is unheard of.
