If someone was to ask me to select only one beauty brand to become the “face” of, Mama Mio would have to be it! This skincare brand has captured my attention and my heart with their natural beauty philosophy and targeted products that really work on issues real women face! Not to mention the beautiful packaging and heavenly smells… I could very happily spend the rest of my days only using Mama Mio products! And I’m not alone – the long list of celebrities who feel the same way means my name might be quite low down on the list should they ever be looking for a brand ambassador!!
I have been fortunate enough to learn more about these lovely products at an event where I met one of the founders and I have also tried 2 of their fab products – Goodbye Stretchmarks, Boobtube and most recently, Skin Tight Toning Serum.
I have been using the latter product for the past 3 months and thought I would share a bit more about my experience with Skin Tight.
Skin Tight is a serum especially designed to target “crepy” loose skin that often afflicts women, especially moms or those whose weight has fluctuated. It is marketed as “gym for slack skin” and I was intriuged when I first heard about it so much so that it was the one product I selected to try when given the choice of their entire range. The reason for this being that I am a mom and hence, have first hand experience of “crepy” skin. After my 2 pregnancies I was more than a little dismayed at the sight of my once firm, perky boobs… Let’s just say that if you’ve breastfed or not, post-pregnancy boobs are not so pretty! My skin had been stretched and marked and thinned quite drastically – which does happen I suppose when you go up 3 cups sizes in one week! Yes C – E….Crazy times! So, Skin Tight appeared on my radar as the miracle working product that I NEEDED NOW.
I couldn’t wait to receive my bottle and see if the claims were true. And I was not disappointed. To be most effective you need to use the product twice a day for a period of 3 months at least so ensure that the active ingredients are able to perform their wonderous task of tightening your tummy or perking up your pretties. The results have been great – I am not always the most diligent at application according to instructions – but I can still report that I found a definite improvement in the firmness of my skin. Although they aren’t back to their former glory, the skin is smoother, tighter and firmer and less thin than it was before. Many women report that they love this product for it’s short AND long term effects.
Think Juicy Grape Not Wrinkly Raisin
Skin Tight is packed with ingredients such as Papaya Enzymes, Soy Protein Complex and Uniprosyn* that all help to improve the texture of the skin. It is also intended for use in conjunction with the other products in the range such as Boobtube for breasts or Shrink to Fit Hip and Thigh cream. The simple rule being “thickest product last”.
As with all “gym” workouts the best results come from continued use and not just a blitz for a big event… which means I will continue to keep applying my Skin Tight at least 3 times a week and might just start using it on other parts of my body too – “sharing the love around” so to speak! Skin Tight can be used on tummies, knees, backs of arms, thighs even saggy faces and necks!! As the product uses facial peel technology for the body, it’s four stage action of exfoliation, tightening, plumping and nourishing all work anywhere you need it – and unless you’re a lingerie model my guess is that you do need it 😉
* Every Mama Mio product has a NO NASTIES guarantee and is safe to use at any time from pregnancy stage to pensionable age. It is Paraben Free, Petrolatum Free, Sodium Laureth and Sodium Laurel Sulphate Free, Xenoestrogen and Phtalates Free, Colourant and Synthetic Fragrance Free. All ingredients are listed in full on the box. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
