Postick Postcard Stickers

What is nicer than receiving real post in the post box?? NO, not the avalanche of bills and advertising but REAL letters! The forgotten art of letter writing and postcard posting is making a comeback… and to help it on it’s way Postick have launched a super cute new product – the Postik Postcard Sticker.

So what is A Postick? It’s a white adhesive label that you can stick to the back of (almost) anything to turn it into a postcard. It has rounded corners, it’s slightly smaller than your average photograph and it has the normal postcard-backing lines printed on it.

What can you use a Postick on? Almost anything. Postick is aimed at photographers (professional or amateur) who would like to send their photographs as postcards, travellers who want to send a greeting to family, new mothers who want to share the birth of their baby with friends abroad, or brides who want to send a personalised wedding pic as a thank you postcard. The options are endless! Some more ideas are listed below…
· Drawings
· Flyers
· Invitations to events
· Fabric
· Vintage photographs
· Vintage/ used postcards
· Magazine clippings
· Pages from old books
· A section of a map
· Old concert tickets

How much do they cost? A pack of 10 is R30.00, A pack of 20 is R50.00, A pack of 50 is R110.00.

Where can I get Postick’s from? If you live in Cape Town, buy Posticks at Orms in town or at the Exposure Gallery at the Biscuit Mill. Posticks can be bought online at Hello Pretty or Etsy.

Who can I send my Postick Postcards to? Well anyone really – your best friend overseas, your mom up country or your boyfriend in the next room! We could all do with a little bit of love and what better way to show this than with some written words especially for that special person. And if you’re keen to share the love and postcard happiness a bit further afield then why not sign up to send a postick postcard to a random stranger in need of some encouragement. Find out more about the The Postcard Happiness Project that does just that.
