What does seem to be waiting in the wings for so many of my friends is a new baby – it seems every second person I know is pregnant! What an exciting time of anticipating a New Life! For all those mamas-to-be’s I’m so pleased to share this exciting news with you today!
Blomerus Photography specialises in Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photography. Marysol Blomerus is a Cuban-American now based in Cape Town who got a love of photography from her father as a teenager. She is a mom of 2 – by adoption and by birth – and has a passion for capturing the milestones of life on film! Her primary focus is on Birth Photography which is a fairly new concept in South Africa, basically she attends the birth of your baby to capture the hours leading up to the birth as well as the first few precious moments of your child’s life. The birth day of your child is said to be one of the happiest and most defining moments of your life, instead of having a few hazy memories and a few blurry pictures taken by an emotional new dad, why not remember it forever? What better way to celebrate the miracle of the arrival of the newest member of your family? Now for the exciting news: I’m pleased to announce a New Competition on Becoming you today. Blomerus Photography is offering a Full Maternity Lifestyle Portrait Session (worth R1200!) to one lucky reader, which consists of the following:
1-2 hour Maternity Lifestyle photography session including yourself, your partner and your children (if any)
Location of choice (at home or the beach or forest etc)
Unlimited wardrobe changes
Professional post production: editing of images
Prints: 1 (8×10); 2 (5×7)
A CD with all your high resolution full size images for you to print.
The CD will also include resized images perfect for emails and social networking sites.
Terms and conditions to the prize:
Final images available within 2-3 weeks.
Scheduling is based on availability.
Redeemable from Jan 2012 for 1 year.
The best time to do maternity portraits is between 28-33 weeks pregnant.
The competition is open to all readers who are able to attend a photo shoot in Cape Town.
Readers who are not pregnant can enter and nominate a pregnant friend to win the prize or win it themselves to gift to someone who is pregnant.
