Last week Wednesday I was treated to a beautiful breakfast at the exquisite Ellerman House boutique hotel in Bantry Bay. The event was to introduce a few South African bloggers to Sian Sutherland, one of the founders of cult beauty brand – Mama Mio.
I had such a lovely morning meeting Sian and hearing more about the background of the brand and the ethos behind it. She was super inspiring and I couldn’t stop jotting down all the little gems she had to share about building a brand that women will love! The Mama Mio brand was started by a group of friends who began making products for their own use when the spotted certain gaps in the market. After supplying various friends for over 10 years they realized they might as well make them available commercially – so 8 years ago Mama Mio was born!
