Last week Wednesday I was treated to a beautiful breakfast at the exquisite Ellerman House boutique hotel in Bantry Bay. The event was to introduce a few South African bloggers to Sian Sutherland, one of the founders of cult beauty brand – Mama Mio.

I had such a lovely morning meeting Sian and hearing more about the background of the brand and the ethos behind it. She was super inspiring and I couldn’t stop jotting down all the little gems she had to share about building a brand that women will love! The Mama Mio brand was started by a group of friends who began making products for their own use when the spotted certain gaps in the market. After supplying various friends for over 10 years they realized they might as well make them available commercially – so 8 years ago Mama Mio was born! Mama Mio truly is a reflection of their experiences through the different life stages – footloose and fancy free, pregnant and glowing, trying to get their bodies back in shape, and now a whole new phase of becoming women of wisdom (but still wanting to look good in a bikini).

Mama Mio is anti-gravity, anti- aging, skin-elasticising, fat-busting, orange peel zapping, toning and tightening, high-performance skincare – using the very best quality of ingredients at very high dosages so you see and feel maximum benefits very quickly.

Mama Mio talk about skin fitness all the time. They believe that FIT skin is gorgeous, glowing, touchable, toned, strong and supple. Whatever your shape or your age, we all want skin that literally fits you like a glove; holding everything in and holding everything up.

Mama Mio’s range is amazing: 100% natural*, divine smelling and miracle working formulae. There was nothing I didn’t like about the products. And there is something for everyone. One of their main focuses as a brand is to make women feel good about themselves which I love.

The High Protein face care products sound stunning and I’d be very keen to try them out along with all of their cult body products (beloved by celebs and real women across the globe). A few of these are:

Skin TightToning Serum
Shrink to Fit Anti-Cellulite Cream
Goodbye Stretchmarks (see my previous review here)
Nexercize
Boob Tube – Bust and Neck Toner
Love your Lifelines

A concept that stood out for me was the range of Bootcamp for Boobs/ Butts/ Tummies/ Arms. All women have one area (or more) of their bodies that they are not entirely happy with – that one area we would love to change. Well this concept is aimed at helping you target your problem area with the right products and a few daily exercises. I definitely know which one I’d go for…

Behind these fun names are some super powerful active ingredients that perform miracles – Mama Mio magic so to speak! I am so keen to try each and every one of their products! It will be hard to choose which one to start with but I’ll be sure to let you know my feedback as soon as I have tried out a new product from Mama Mio! To find out more about their range visit their website or pop over to Poise – the distributors in South Africa

Thank you to Mama Mio for a great morning and for running the ticket giveaway with Becoming you for one lucky reader to attend with me! I had a lovely morning with my guest Charlene and was pleased to discover that she is a fledgling beauty blogger over at Pretty Please Charlie – what a happy coincidence! Thanks Charlene for coming along – it was lovely to meet you!
