Last year I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon at Kamersvol Geskenke held at Lourensford in Somerset West – a market place filled to the brim with pretty things to buy for yourself or for Christmas presents!

This year KAMERS celebrates a decade of women, their stories, dreams and growth through creativity, by providing a visual and creative feast of exceptional handmade & crafted products.

From September to end November, KAMERS will host three inspiration filled events around the country, Bloemfontein (5 – 8 Sep), Lourensford in Somerset West (21 – 27 Oct) and Irene in Pretoria (25 Nov – 1 Dec).

A selection of the best originally designed wares, from jewellery to gourmet food products, ceramics, soft furnishings, décor accessories, garden gear, designer clothing and accessories will be available from niche suppliers from 08:30 until 17:00 daily, with extended shopping hours until 20:00 on Friday evenings. The opening nights will be hosted with live music at the normal ticket price from 16:00 – 20:00 on the first day of each event. The KAMERS team are well known for their innovative sourcing of creative talent and fresh new product ideas. It is a platform for unique products that are not easily available in the market place –
