Glossybox July 2012

Everyone has those days when nothing seems to go your way… myself included. I was having one of them when I returned home to discover my latest Glossybox had arrived and was waiting to be unwrapped… A momentary high – only to be dashed when I realized that I wouldn’t have time to enjoy the spoils just yet and it would have to wait until I had a moment alone to savour the experience! Oh dear it really wasn’t my day!

A few days later I finally managed to grab some quiet time (it doesn’t happen often let me tell you) and I was finally able to open up my little treasure box of treats. Here is my vlog to share the fun with you:

If you want a little bit more detail about the contents of the July 2012 Glossybox here is the breakdown of products as well as a few of my comments…

L’OCCITANE – AROMACHOLOGY REPAIRING HAIR MASK
Formulated with a natural vegetable complex of 5 essential oils (angelica, lavender, geranium, ylang ylang and sweet orange) and sunflower and wheat oils, this hair mask helps repair dry and damaged hair. It is particularly recommended for colour and chemically-treated hair. It protects against the damaging
effects of environmental stresses and leaves your hair shiny, soft, and smooth. This divine hair mask smells amazing and I am always a fan of natural products and ones that contain essential oils even more so! I can highly recommend using this while relaxing in a long bath or watching a lovely girly movie. Your dry ends will thank you!

ANESI BEAUTE’ – OBJECTIF MINCEUR CRÈME LIPOAMINOCEL
This cellulite cream is formulated to act immediately to remove cellulite and stop it from developing. It increases microcirculation and stimulates lipolysis of stored fat. And we can all use help in this department – esp as summer is around the corner. Eeek!

CLARINS – EXTRA-FIRMING TIGHTENING LIFT BOTANICAL SERUM
A great 10ml sample size serum. A full size of 30ml retails for R610 so this is an amazing deal valued at over R200! This is an ultimate age-control, anti-wrinkle, extra-firming skin care treatment that is a natural alternative to injections, lasers and lifts. I’ve been looking for a serum and I think I can call off the search.

DR BRANDT – DR. BRANDT DETOXYGEN EXPERIENCE
This is a new range I have recently been introduced to via Glossybox. It is an “award-winning synergistic two-step system that oxygenates and detoxifies to reveal glowing, revitalized skin, mimicking an in-office oxygen facial”. Some of the benefits include:
• maximizes oxygen transportation into skin cells
• neutralizes toxic effects
• detoxifies skin cells
• revitalizes & re-energizes lackluster skin for a fresh, luminous look.
• protects against skin hazards.

CHLOE’ – LOVE CHLOE, EAU INTENSE

My favourite product of the bunch this month. Although there were all fantastic – the perfume from Chloe – love chloé! It has been enriched with an oriental facet – an essential accord in perfumery that fuses with the original delicate notes. This scent is seduction itself! I found 2 small samples in my box so one has been popped into my make-up bag for on-the-go sprays…

It’s pronounced as lok-see-tan(L’occitane), it’s a bit tricky, hehe. I love that shampoo. The Chloe’, I think, I had from last weeks Rubybox.
