Cape Town Fashion Week starts tomorrow, Wednesday 13 July, with some of the most promising designers in African fashion showing their Spring/ Summer 2011/12 collections! African Fashion International (AFI) along with the Cape Town Fashion Council and SA and Cape Town Tourism, expertly selected the designers participating in this fashion week. Some of the designers showing at this year’s event are Gavin Rajah, Thula Sindi, Stefania Morland and Abigail Betz.

Foschini and AFI have ensured the opening day is not to be missed. Entry to the show is free on Wednesday and the festivities kick off at 13h00, with the highlight on the first day being the Fastrack fashion show. Fastrack is an initiative developed by Foschini which aims to fast track the careers of graduate design students. Finalists in the competition will show their range on Wednesday, with three winners being selected for an internship at Foschini.
