American Farm House
In my dreams I live in a beautiful old farmhouse with a rambling garden and a hammock to swing in. Somewhere in the South of France maybe? Preferably with a view of the sea from the vine covered patio…. You can picture it can’t you?
When it comes to interiors and homes I’m far more sure about what I love than when it comes to fashion. And I far prefer the relaxed, country style end of the spectrum to the sleek, modern style. Which is why I am LOVING this gorgeous home…. Would you believe it is in fact a 4-storey home located in Brooklyn, New York?
This “American Farm House” belongs to Miranda Brooks and Bastien Halard and they share it with daughters Poppy and Violette and 2 bunnies who live in a hutch on the roof! Miranda is a landscape designer and Vogue Contributing Editor, while Bastien is an architect.
I am in love with the wooden floors in the kitchen, the overgrown small garden with secret spaces and the ramshackle potting shed! And don’t you just adore the bookshelf in the bathroom – what a great idea.

So, where do you live in your dreams?
